The moral glory of our Lord Jesus Christ is that intrinsic glory which pertains to Christ in the perfection of His character (light and love on display). We see in this glory the perfection of Christ’s character as a man; all that is comprehended in the name “Jesus”. We might think of His humility, kindness, dependence, righteousness, lowliness, and meekness. This was a glory that could not be hid when the Word became flesh. He could not cease to manifest those moral qualities. When it says “But we all, looking on the glory of the Lord, with unveiled face, are transformed according to the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord the Spirit” (2 Cor. 3:18) it refers to the moral glory of Christ. It is not possible for us to be transformed to the personal glory of Christ, but since we have His life, we can be transformed to be like Him morally.
